New in BIOS TO UEFI 1.4

This release introduces the following features:

  • Automated password authentication for BIOS updates. This process is managed by the 1E BIOS to UEFI Password Setup task sequence.
  • Support for the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) – the micro-controller can be enabled and activated with the 1E BIOS to UEFI - TPM task sequence.
  • Support for Virtualization – CPU Virtualization can be enabled 1E BIOS to UEFI - Virtualization settings. 
  • Support for the new version of OEM tools by vendors.

Enhancements:

  • You can now change the boot order in 1E BIOS to UEFI OEM task sequence.
  • Support for the new version of OEM tools by vendors:
    • Dell Command | Control tool v4.0.0.391
    • HP BIOS Configuration Utility v4.0.24.1

Features released in BIOS to UEFI 1.1

This release introduced the following features:

  • Automated firmware reconfiguration on Dell, Lenovo and HP systems to switch from BIOS-emulation to native UEFI with the secure boot during a Windows 10 deployment.
