Function

COMBINEPATHS

Action

Takes two paths as strings, or a path and a basename as strings. It combines them and returns the result.

Parameters

(string) string1

(string) string2

Return values

(string) string1\string2

Example
Example - concatenating two paths
// Returns "c:\tmp\things\file.txt"
SELECT COMBINEPATHS("C:\\tmp","things\\file.txt") AS Path;
// Returns "/var/log\things/file.txt"
SELECT COMBINEPATHS("/var/log","things/file.txt") AS Path;
Notes

This function is not filesystem aware. This is a simple concatenation of two strings instead of "string1" || "string2".
