Q: under what situation would we need a SQL Trace?

A: the video uses the example of tracing the calls to reporting stored procedures. but this could be useful in multiple situations where you want to verify what is being done to the database and by which components.   in some cases we might need a complete trace from all components to provide to development for their analysis of a customer related problem.
