Savings so far
By default, the Shopping portal displays how much it has saved you since its implementation. This feature displays the number of requests processed, the amount saved in help desk costs and the amount saved in help desk time.
The costs saved are derived from the number of requests processed and the help desk cost setting – the current industry standard is $40 per help desk call.
The time saved is derived from the number of requests processed and the help desk time setting – the current industry average is 30 minutes per help desk call.
Configuring the Savings so far feature
To configure this feature:
On the navigation pane In the Shopping Admin Console, click Settings.
In the Web applications section:
If you want to disable this feature, update the default value for Show savings to date to FALSE
If you want to change the currency, update the default value for Currency
If you want to change the help desk cost from the industry standard, update the default value for Help Desk Cost
If you want to change the average time per help desk call, update the default value for Help Desk Time.
