Uninstalling Dashboards
Because this release of Dashboards is provided as a Hotfix bundle, it is not possible to uninstall completely. However, you can disable the Dashboards app and stop it from being displayed by disabling the Dashboards consumer using the Settings app.
Disabling the Dashboards consumer
To do this, you will need to have one of the following roles: Full Administrator, Installer, or a custom role with the Consumer global Read and Write permission.
Navigate to the Configuration→Consumers page in the Settings app.
Locate the Dashboards consumer in the consumer list and check the checkbox at the left-hand side of its entry in the list.
Click the Edit button.
In the Edit consumer popup uncheck the Enabled checkbox and click Save.
The Dashboards consumer will now be disabled. Refresh the browser and the Dashboards app will no longer be available.
Note
Before refreshing the browser, it will still be possible to view the Dashboards, and anyone else viewing this in another browser will still be able to see it until they refresh or login again to 1E platform.
Re-enabling Dashboards consumer
It is also possible to re-enable the Dashboards consumer to allow subsequent access to the Dashboards app. Follow the instructions above, but check the Enabled checkbox in step 4. instead.
More permanent disabling of Dashboards
If you no longer want to use the Dashboards feature or have access to this open beta, you can request 1E to remove it from your license. This will stop the application from displaying altogether and can only be reverted by requesting that it is added back into your license.
