1E 9.x
1E platform is a systems management tool based on the concept that a device is aware of its own current state more accurately than any centrally held repository. Also, if you can query the device directly then the need to store masses of data becomes unnecessary.

This documentation is titled 1E 9.x because it covers both 1E 9.0 and 1E 9.1 platform releases.
The guidance in this documentation applies to both 1E 9.0 and 1E 9.1 releases, unless indicated otherwise in the text.
